Another day, another update for the Happy Hunter Trading System! So, how did the two Variants fare in the most recent hunt?
Volatility really ramped up on August 29 (and remained elevated on August 30), which naturally means that both Variants of the (very) Happy Hunter trading system had a great time.
Wow! The last time we saw this level of volatility was back on August 9. Time sure does fly, huh?
Anyhow, the Fixed TP Variant is now up by 4.18% for the month (+3.42% previous), which is within striking distance of the Variant’s high water mark of 4.57%.
However, the spotlight is rightfully on the Trailing Variant since it was able to generate some trades in the direction of the very strong intraday trend.
And more importantly, the Variant was able to ride almost the entirety of the uptrend, including the uptrend during the first half of August 30.
Given all that, the Trailing Variant’s net profits for the month shot up from +2.88% to a very impressive +12.24%, which also happens to be a new high water mark. Whee! The month’s not yet over, though, so it’s not guaranteed that the Trailing Variant will close out the month with a 12.24% gain. Once can hope, though.

Also, if you’re wondering what the numbers on the charts are about, they refer to the trade #, based on the chronological order when the signal was generated, not necessarily when the trade was executed.
Oh, also note that you can find the details of each trade in the tables below the chart. If the table is too small to read, just remember that you can click on it to enlarge it.
