The final trading day of the month is finally over. So, how did the two Variants fare?

There was a choppy uptrend on April 30, which resulted in a bunch of winners and losers that effectively offset each other. The balance scale was (very) slightly weighted more towards the winning side, though.

The Fixed TP Variant therefore closed out the month with a measly 0.44% gain (+0.26% last Friday), which is rather disappointing since the Variant reached a high water mark of 4.28% only to give almost all of it back.

The Trailing Variant, meanwhile, is down by 1.71% for the month (-1.76% last Friday), which is also a disappointment since the Variant had a very promising start when it reached a high water mark of+3.29% in the first week.

By the way, if you’re a first-time reader and have no idea what this is all about, then just know that I’m forward testing a purely mechanical trading system.

And if you find that interesting, then you may wanna click on the links below to read about and understand the rules of the system.

Also, if you’re wondering what the numbers on the charts are about, they refer to the trade #, based on the chronological order when the signal was generated, not necessarily when the trade was executed.

Oh, also note that you can find the details of each trade in the tables below the chart. If the table is too small to read, just remember that you can click on it to enlarge it.
