The lovely uptrend extended its run on October 4. Both Variants were able to benefit again, but the Trailing Variant was able gather an extremely bountiful harvest and is now up  by a whopping 10.42% for the month. Whee!

Just finished crunching the numbers for the SMA Crossover Pullback system! Did Q3 2018 fare better than Q2 2018? And did this one outperform my other mech systems?

There was a very lovely uptrend on October 3 and both Variants were able to benefit. Of course, the Trailing Variant benefited more and is now up by 3.84% for the month. It was down by 1.20% previously.

Talk about finishing strong! The pairs I’m watching snagged a couple of wins before closing Q3, just in time for me to round up the quarterly performance numbers.

There was a clear downtrend on October 2, but intraday price action was still somewhat choppy, so some trades that went against the trend were also triggered, which naturally resulted in losses.

The first week of the new month is already underway. So, how did the two Variants fare during the first trading day of the new month?

Winning streakn’t! Just when I thought the HLHB was ready for another winning streak, a fakeout was validated to ruin the numbers. Boo!

Greetings, fellow Happy Hunters! The trading week is done and a new one will soon begin, which means that it’s time to take stock of how the two Variants of the Happy Hunter Price Action Trading System fared this past week.

There was a nice, steady downtrend on September 28. And fortunately, the system was able to generate a couple of trades in the direction of that trend, allowing both Variants to bounce back.

If trading conditions on September 26 were bad, then trading conditions on September 27 were worse. And this time, even the Fixed TP Variant was forced to surrender a large chunk of its gains.

Trading conditions deteriorated even further on September 26, so the Trailing Variant was forced to pare even more gains. The Fixed TP Variant, meanwhile, was able to somehow eke out a win again.

It was a bit of a slow grind for these Loonie pairs in the past few days, but volatility picked up later on. Did this system catch any pips?

Volatility tightened a bit on September 25 and GBP/NZD’s intraday price action was rather choppy, so both Variants had a tough time. The Fixed TP Variant managed to eke out a win, though.

A bit of a slow week for this mechanical system as a handful of inside bar patterns didn’t snag enough momentum to trigger entries.
