Another day, another update for the Happy Hunter Trading System! So, how did the two Variants fare in the most recent hunt?
If trading conditions on September 26 were bad, then trading conditions on September 27 were even worse. Just look at how messy GBP/NZD’s intraday price action was.

And this time, even the Fixed TP Variant took some damage. Well, that’s actually an understatement since 3 of the 4 trades generated that day were losers. And of the 3 losers, 2 of them were full losses.
Worse, the sole winner (trade # 100) was just 4 measly pips away from reaching TP, but the limited volatility meant that the trade was ultimately closed out at SW. Boo hoo!
And because of all that, the Fixed TP Variant lost a large chunk of its gains and is now only up by 1.59% for the month (+2.84% previous).
And as expected, the Trailing Variant didn’t really fare any better and is now only up by 5.39% for the month (+6.63% previous).

By the way, if you’re a first-time reader and have no idea what this is all about, then just know that I’m forward testing a purely mechanical trading system.
And if you find that interesting, then you may wanna click on the links below to read about and understand the rules of the system.

- The Happy Hunter Price Action System 4.0 (Trailing Variant)
Also, if you’re wondering what the numbers on the charts are about, they refer to the trade #, based on the chronological order when the signal was generated, not necessarily when the trade was executed.
Oh, also note that you can find the details of each trade in the tables below the chart. If the table is too small to read, just remember that you can click on it to enlarge it.
