The USD/CHF trend following play is not necessarily invalidated by the market trend transition but additional resistance levels will offer insight into where the current push higher may exhaust and therefore also where the bears will step in.

I jumped in at market, held my breath for what seemed like an eternity, and boom! GBP/USD skyrocketed up the charts and I came out on top with a 1% gain. Whew! I didn’t know trading the news could be that exhilarating!

Because the euro zone’s debt problems seem to be surfacing again, I was anticipating a big drop in EUR/JPY… but I didn’t think it would happen so soon!

I closed my open orders for a short position on EUR/USD today as a surprise downgrade on Greece from S&P sent the euro tumbling. Here’s a review of today’s price action.

What an exciting week for the comdolls! It would’ve been an exciting week for me too had I taken the best setup for the week and won 10% on the trade. Yep, that’s right, ten percent!

After being a little too aggressive in my trading last week, here’s a setup on EUR/JPY that would’ve given me a bunch of pips even if I had played it conservatively.

I was sooooooooo close to not posting this. I did not want to announce to the whole world that my trade lost. But a girl trader’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do! I won’t learn anything otherwise!

Oh no, not again! Just when I thought I was able to join the uptrend at such a good price, the tide turned and AUD/USD sank like a heavy rock. Well, my heart sank too after my trade got stopped out!

…if so, time to jump on the correction higher as prices reach for the 20 period SMA. This rally has carried the USD/CHF to the 50% Fibonacci Retracement of the April 19 high to May 5 low.

By now, you all probably know that I got a very painful loss on EUR/USD yesterday. I decided to take a break from the markets, cool off, and focus instead on how my HLHB system has been doing in the last couple of weeks that I wasn’t able to forward-test it.

There are times when you trade too conservatively, and there are times when you trade too aggressively. This trade was one of the latter.

Good evening evening! It was a wild day in the markets as weak economic data and Trichet’s comments sent risk aversion flows into overdrive. It took Cable down to my long entry levels, but unfortunately previous major support wasn’t able to push risk aversion back.

After holding on to the trade for almost a week, I finally got stopped out yesterday. What a sad, sad day it is for little noobie Huck!

I’m returning to the on-going discussion we’ve had regarding the Channel Up, mark up trend, and the swing buy I’ve been watching/waiting on the 240-minute EUR/USD. On April 26 and 29 I brought up my strategy for a swing buy and also my shift to an intraday entry because of the near-term support that the EUR/USD is seeing.

The downtrend is not letting up in the USD/CAD so far as the Asian session has opened for the week and the loonie continues to hammer the dollar. Not completely surprising the the slight bounce being seen on the daily time frame.

On April 26 I wrote about the patience I was exercising in waiting for exhaustion to possible drive the daily EUR/USD to my sweet spot for a swing buy entry.
