Season’s greetings, fellow Happy Hunters! December 25 was a no-trade day (i.e. no price data feed), but December 24 was a trading day. So, how did the two Variants fare during the 24th?

Well, it’s Christmas season but the market wasn’t in a giving mood since liquidity and volatility were both in short supply, which resulted in choppy price action during the first half of the day. And naturally, some losing trades were triggered.

Things did get better during the later half of the day, though. There was even a decent 180-pip uptrend, and a couple of trades were opened in the direction of the uptrend.

Sadly, the winners were just not able to offset the losers, so both Variants took some damage.

But on a more upbeat note, the damage was only light and the Fixed TP Variant is still up by 4.32% for the month (+4.51% last Friday), while the Trailing Variant is still up by 6.23% (+6.76% last Friday).

Anyhow, you can  check out the details by clicking on the relevant jump links below.

By the way, if you’re a first-time reader and have no idea what this is all about, then just know that I’m forward testing a purely mechanical trading system.

And if you find that interesting, then you may wanna click on the links below to read about and understand the rules of the system.

Also, if you’re wondering what the numbers on the charts are about, they refer to the trade #, based on the chronological order when the signal was generated, not necessarily when the trade was executed.

Oh, also note that you can find the details of each trade in the tables below the chart. If the table is too small to read, just remember that you can click on it to enlarge it.
