A new trading week is already underway, which means another batch of daily updates. So, how did the two Variants fare?
Well, volatility suddenly evaporated on August 13 since the day’s range was only a measly 72 pips. Moreover, GBP/NZD basically traded sideways in that tight 72-pip range.
In other words, trading conditions deteriorated even further on August 13. And as a result, both Variants started the new trading week by suffering a string of losses. And by “string of losses” I mean six consecutive losses. Ouch!
On a slightly more upbeat note, the capital preservation rules were activated on all losing trades. Also, there was a winning trade at the end of the day, thanks to volatility picking up slightly on August 14, which eased some of the pain.
Anyhow, the Fixed TP Variant is now only up by 1.15%, which is sad since it was up by 2.58% last Friday. The Trailing Variant, meanwhile, took even more hits and is now only up by 6.12% for the month. It was up by 7.76% last Friday and reached a high water mark of+8.27% earlier in the month.

Also, if you’re wondering what the numbers on the charts are about, they refer to the trade #, based on the chronological order when the signal was generated, not necessarily when the trade was executed.
Oh, also note that you can find the details of each trade in the tables below the chart. If the table is too small to read, just remember that you can click on it to enlarge it.
