Another day, another update for the Happy Hunter Trading System! So, how did the two Variants fare in the most recent hunt?
Trading conditions deteriorated again on June 28 since price action became very choppy and many of the hourly candles were humongous. And it was bad for both Variants, real bad.
How bad? Well, six trades were generated on June 28 and not a single one was a winner. NOT. A. SINGLE. ONE.
Wait a minute… This feels like déjà vu…
Oh, that’s right! The same thing happened on June 26!
Wow! Goodness gracious! Two very terrible days in one week! I almost can’t believe it! This is almost as bad as that time when the system went into a four-day losing streak back in May.
Anyhow, the system’s capital preservation rules kicked in yet again, so all but one trade had reduced losses. Even so, the pain is really building up.
There’s now even a real risk that both Variants may close out the month flat (or even in the red) since the Fixed TP Variant is now only up by 2.63% for the month (+4.66% previous), while the Trailing Variant is now only up by 2.84% (+4.87% previous).
Anyhow, you can check out the details by clicking on the relevant jump links below.

By the way, if you’re a first-time reader and have no idea what this is all about, then just know that I’m forward testing a purely mechanical trading system.
And if you find that interesting, then you may wanna click on the links below to read about and understand the rules of the system.

Also, if you’re wondering what the numbers on the charts are about, they refer to the trade #, based on the chronological order when the signal was generated, not necessarily when the trade was executed.
Oh, also note that you can find the details of each trade in the tables below the chart. If the table is too small to read, just remember that you can click on it to enlarge it.
