A new trading week is underway, which means another batch of daily updates. So, how did the two Variants fare?
Well, June 18 was actually a profitable day for both Variants. However, the open trades from last Friday were a net loss since the winner (trade #53) got at SW and was obviously unable to offset the loser (trade #54).
If those two trades from last Friday are excluded, then the Fixed TP Variant gained 0.49% on June 18 while the Trailing Variant eked out a 0.15% gain on the day.
But because last Friday’s trades resulted in a net loss, the Fixed TP Variant only very slightly increased its gains for the month to 5.95% (+5.71% last Friday).
The Trailing Variant, meanwhile, suffered a light scratch and was forced to take another step back and is now only up by 7.99% (+8.09% last Friday).

By the way, if you’re a first-time reader and have no idea what this is all about, then just know that I’m forward testing a purely mechanical trading system.

Also, if you’re wondering what the numbers on the charts are about, they refer to the trade #, based on the chronological order when the signal was generated, not necessarily when the trade was executed.
Oh, also note that you can find the details of each trade in the tables below the chart. If the table is too small to read, just remember that you can click on it to enlarge it.
