And just like that, I got stopped out on my EUR/JPY trade. Looks like I was wrong as traders saw Tuesday’s drop as another opportunity to buy the euro cheap!

Get ready to boogie to the music of the cross pairs, as I’ve got the AUD/JPY, EUR/CHF, and CAD/JPY on the dance floor today!

I wanted to share this with you today because I feel this week is going to be an important adjustment for me personally as far as the trading strategy I have used for the past six weeks is going to shift away from 240-minute swing entries to a focus on the daily time frame.

Wow! What a difference 24 hours can make on currencies as the China interest rate raises didn’t have much of a lasting effect on the markets. Traders returned to further Fed QE2 sentiment, and with the help of positive corporate earnings, risk was quickly picked back up.

The Cable basically pulled a 180 today and shot back up after yesterday’s big downward spiral. As a result there were no signals generated again and we were forced to stand on the sidelines. Phooey! Thanks (or should I say NO THANKS?!) to China’s SURPRISE decision to increase interest rate by 0.25%, I had to stomach another loss.

My end of the week trade idea managed to produce a few pips for my account, but because I had to take off early for the weekend, I wasn’t able to update my blog until today. It looks like that saved me a few pips as well.

Ouch! My account took another hit as CAD/JPY kept sliding down last week. Apparently, I got faked out by those deceiving double bottoms!
