Mario Draghi is the current President of the European Central Bank (ECB).

Not only was he the former Italian central bank governor, he also held stints with the Italian Treasury, the European Economic and Financial Committee, the OECD, the Asian Development Bank, the BIS, and World Bank.

Draghi finished his undergraduate studies at the University of Rome and received his Ph.D. in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

As perhaps the second most powerful policymaker in FX markets, Mr. Draghi now enjoys a far more imposing reputation as an aggressive and forthright central bank Governor.
