Greetings earthlings! I’ve retreated into my pod for the past couple of days to crunch more numbers on this mechanical trading system. Here’s how it fared for the first quarter of 2018.

Price action on was choppy and directional movement was lacking so,both Variants didn’t do too well. However, the damage inflicted wasn’t that painful since the Fixed TP  Variant only suffered a light scratch while the Trailing Variant only got a black eye. 

Just finished crunching the numbers for the SMA Crossover Pullback system! Did Q1 2018 fare better than Q4 2017? And did this one outperform my other mech systems?

Another day, another update for the Happy Hunter Trading System! So, how did the most recent hunt go? Pretty good, actually. The two-way price action gave both Variants a string of wins that allowed them to recover from the earlier losses.

The choppy price action didn’t go away on March 23, but there was a decent intraday swing that allowed both Variants to recover from some of their recent losses.

Another day, another update for the Happy Hunter Trading System! So, how did the most recent hunt go? Well, March 22 was yet another choppy day, so the hits just kept on coming, resulting in more net losses for both Variants. Ouch! Ouch! 

This mechanical system snagged a few signals from USD/CAD and CAD/CHF over the past few days, and here’s how the positions turned out.

To me, I still count breakeven days as good days because it means I live to trade another day and I didn’t lose anything while still getting trading experience. See how it all went down in today’s Cowabunga Surf Report.

The market giveth and the market taketh away, as some people say. To be more specific, both Variants encountered choppy price action on March 20, which forced them to give back some of their hard-won gains. Boo hoo!
