Volatility was rather limited on May 28. Also, GBP/NZD traded somewhat sideways. In other words, trading conditions were rather unfavorable. Fortunately, the open trades from last Friday were all profitable and resulted in net wins for both Variants.

I’m seeing strong bearish action on euro pairs, but was this mechanical trading strategy able to cash in on those? Time to find out!

Last week we saw pretty strong trends from the three major pairs but NO new signals from the HLHB. What’s up with that?! Thankfully, we’ve also locked in pips from the open trades that we had.

Greetings, fellow Happy Hunters! A new trading week will soon begin, so it’s time to take stock of how the two Variants of the Happy Hunter Price Action Trading System fared this past week.

The final trading day of the week is done. So, how did the two Variants fare during the last hunt of the week? Well, GBP/NZD trended lower on May 25. However, intraday price action was rather choppy. And as a result both Variants took hits. Boo hoo!

There was two-way price action on May 24, and the system was able to generate winning trades in both directions. The intraday trends were short-lived, however, so only the Fixed TP Variant was able to benefit.

May 23 was another rather choppy day, which resulted in net losses for both Variants. There was actually a decent intraday trend. The system was unable to generate a trade in the direction of the trend, though, which is a real bummer.

After yet another signal-free week, this mechanical system caught one position each for USD/CAD and CAD/CHF. Did it score wins?

Unfortunately I had to sit on the sidelines today as there were no valid signals. Like a lion looking for its prey, I stay patiently waiting…. See how it all went down in today’s Cowabunga Surf Report.

GBP/NZD’s price action on May 22 was rather choppy. And as a result, both Variants took hits, with the Trailing Variant getting the worst of it.

There was a steady downtrend on May 21 and the Trailing Variant was able to ride it all the way down and is now up by 1.36% for the month. The Fixed TP Variant did well as well and is now only down by 1.37% for the month.

Got a bunch of new positions on this mechanical trading system, but early exit signals were quick to pop up. Did it still catch some pips?

The system generated only one trade on May 18. I’m not complaining, though, since that one trade was a winner and really profited the Trailing Variant since that one trade was able to ride the entire downswing on May 18.

Price action on May 17 was very choppy and some of the hourly candles were quite big to boot. And as a natural consequence, the system generated more losing trades than winning trades. The capital preservation rules helped to limit the damage, though.

This mechanical trading system had some hits and misses for the past few days, but did it end up positive overall? Take a look!

There was a relatively strong intraday trend on May 16 and the system was able to generate trades in the direction of the trend. Unfortunately, there were also bouts of choppy, sideways price action that resulted in a bunch of losing trades.
