Greetings, fellow Happy Hunters! The trading week is done and a new one will soon begin, which means that it’s time to take stock of how the two Variants of the Happy Hunter Price Action Trading System fared this past week.

Trading condition on July 27  didn’t really improve, so both both Variants of the (not so) Happy Hunter suffered even more losses.

Was price action on July 26 still very choppy? Check! Was volatility still abnormally low? Check! Did  both Variants of the (not so) Happy Hunter continue to bleed out? Check!

Price action on July 25 was still very choppy and volatility was still in short supply to boot, so the bloodletting continued for both Variants of the (not so) Happy Hunter.

You win some, you lose some! This week’s set was more or less an even mix of reds and greens, but did the system end up positive overall?

Trading conditions were still rather terrible on July 24, so both Variants of the (not so) Happy Hunter had another rather terrible time. The Fixed TP Variant, in particular, is now in negative territory.

This system may have snagged more losing positions than winning ones lately, but a couple of big gains managed to save the day. Take a look!

GBP/NZD traded roughly sideways in a tight range and intraday price action was very choppy to boot. In short, trading conditions were rather terrible on July 23. And consequently, both Variants had a rather terrible time.

Just when it seemed that this strategy would get caught up in sideways action again, it was able to snag a full win on Cable. Take a look!

The stars (or in this case signals) are lining up for another good week for this trend-catcher system! Here’s what I’m excited about.

Trading conditions deteriorated even further on July 20. And this time, both Variants of the (not so) Happy Hunter took hits. They’re still both up for the month, though.

Trading conditions deteriorated on July 19, but the Fixed TP Variant was able to eke out a small win. The Trailing Variant, meanwhile, was able to walk away with only a scratch.

July 18 was another volatile day, so both Variants had another good run. The Trailing Variant is worth mentioning since it’s now up by 6.20%, which also happens to be a new high water mark for the month.

This mechanical system is staying true to its slow start for the quarter since the pairs I’m watching generated only one signal each. Here’s how they’re looking so far.

Volatility ramped up on July 17, but only the Trailing Variant was able to really benefit and is now up by 4.72% for the month. And that’s because losers were also generated since intraday price action was still choppy overall.
