Another day, another update for the Happy Hunter Trading System! So, how did the two Variants fare in the most recent hunt?
Well, GBP/NZD continued to trade roughly sideways in a tight range and intraday price action was still very choppy on July 24.
In other words, trading conditions were still rather terrible. And since trading conditions were still quite terrible, both Variants of the (not so) Happy Hunter suffered even more losses and are now in a losing streak.

Wow. The system is basically experiencing the same terrible trading conditions as when the system lost a large chunk of its gains during the last week of June and when the system went into a very painful losing streak during the first few days of May. So unless volatility ramps up, it’s now very likely that both Variants of the (not so) Happy Hunter will close out the month in negative territory.
Anyhow, the Fixed TP Variant is now down by 1.80% for the month (+0.03% previous), while the Trailing Variant is now only barely above breakeven with a 0.05% gain for the month (+2.15% previous).

By the way, if you’re a first-time reader and have no idea what this is all about, then just know that I’m forward testing a purely mechanical trading system.
And if you find that interesting, then you may wanna click on the links below to read about and understand the rules of the system.

Also, if you’re wondering what the numbers on the charts are about, they refer to the trade #, based on the chronological order when the signal was generated, not necessarily when the trade was executed.
Oh, also note that you can find the details of each trade in the tables below the chart. If the table is too small to read, just remember that you can click on it to enlarge it.
