I had two ideas on EURUSD short, and it looks like I focused on the wrong one this time as EURUSD didn’t make its way much higher before “dropping like it’s hot!”

I’m in Korea for two weeks…and so I’m TRADING from Korea for two weeks! So the issue is not whether I can trade but do I know the mannerisms of the hours that I will be trading. So I have to ask myself: Am I pipsmart in the ways of the Asian session? THAT will be what I have the adjust for the most.

Unfortunately, my NZDUSD trade didn’t get triggered yesterday as price was unable to make it past the psychological 0.7400 handle. Right now, the pair is more than 200 pips away from my entry point, which means that it probably wouldn’t get triggered anytime soon.

Yikes! As risk aversion returned to the markets, the AUDUSD dipped back to the 0.9200 area, causing my adjusted stop on my second position to get hit.

Whoa! Things were looking fine and dandy when price shot up from my entry point. And then US retail sales were released last night and came out worse than expected. It triggered a sell off in the USDJPY pair, which brought other yen pairs along for the ride!

Oh dear, another week with no signal on my HLHB mechanical system. I’m getting pretty tired of simply waiting for trade signals to come out so I decided to delve a little deeper into the details of my mechanical system…

Argh! It’s too bad my long EURUSD order didn’t get triggered because I could’ve netted a hundred pips on that trade. The price didn’t dip as low as my entry order at 1.4450 but it did surge all the way up to my first profit target at 1.4550.

I’ve been watching the daily chart of the USD/JPY for a correction ever since it’s visit up to the 200SMA…

Oh what a boring week! First, no signal on my system! Second, the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight is off! Bummer!

Like I promised, I’d close my trade before the release of the US non-farm payrolls report. It’s about time I locked in those profits before I head off to enjoy the weekend!

Ouch! No thanks to the stellar Australian retail sales result that was just released and yesterday’s Fed’s meeting minutes, I’ll start 2010 with a small hit on my account.

Is it a reversal or a correction?

It’s a issue that many traders struggle with..

I was laying low for most of December, (as I see no point in unraveling a pretty decent year with too much year-end trading) but I was staying fairly active with my short term five minute set ups (which I have outlined in detailed perviously) and find myself ready to grab 2010 and see what it offers.

Good Morning! I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend! It didn’t look too great for the Greenback as it lost some ground to the Aussie on a return of focus to global recovery.

I got stood up on my AUDUSD trade date as the dollar bulls continued their rampage through the markets. Oh well! There’s always Christmas to look forward to!

What The Huck! No signal again?! Looks like I’m having problems with my system since this is the fourth straight week I haven’t had an entry signal!

Ah sweet, sweet victory. My second TP got hit! Thanks to a relatively upbeat FOMC statement, traders bought up the dollar on the speculation that the Fed would hike rates earlier than expected.

Argh, I missed out on my cable trade! I thought I was going to get some quick pips… but… Oh well :S

Yikes! Eurozone data came out a bit weaker as expected, but what wasn’t expected was the market reaction and EURUSD dropping it’s entire average daily range on the pair!
