Good morning friends! And what a wonderful morning it is to open up the charts and see that my second profit target was hit! Euro weakness persisted throughout the morning European trading session and the EURUSD hit 1.3550 to close me out.

What a break! The Australian employment report came out better than expected, causing the Aussie bulls to come out in force!

Wow! Lots of signals this week – I got 4 this time around! Good thing, my 30-pip filter saved me from a lot of losses. Unfortunately, one managed to get through and burn me!

Forex traders do need to keep an eye on what’s going on in the equities. And while most traders look at the S&P 500 for an idea of what stocks are doing, I take a slightly different tact.

No thanks to risk appetite, resistance at former highs held, putting a cap on any serious dollar gains. Needless to say, price eventually dropped and stopped out my second position out at break-even.

The EUR/USD has been rallying across the intraday time frames of the 15, 30, and 60 minute charts. The bounce from 1.3600 has been significant enough to even level the 240 minute chat to the beginning stages of accumulation after a sustained downtrend from 1.4600.

Bahhh! Things didn’t work out too well for me as risk appetite was back in style yesterday. Time to close my trade ahead of the inflation report!

Whee! My second profit target at 0.8600 got hit last Friday after the US released their employment report.

Phew looks like I got lucky on my GBPUSD trade! Time to close before I head off to sleep!

Argh! The EURJPY pair climbed only until 126.98, missing my entry order at 127.00 by 2 measly pips.

Good morning! I’ve been holding on this short USDJPY for while, but I’ve failed to get the break and follow through that I have been hoping for. With the NFP data coming out this week, and the continued uncertainty of the current market/political environment, I have decided to close this trade down for now.

I’m still in “teacher” mode right now after having visited Korea – teaching traders there – for the past two weeks. I’ll definitely get back to current market set ups this week, I’m still playing a bit of catch-up from my time away from my home office.

Boo! Another week with no signal on my HLHB mechanical system. Still, I have much to be cheerful about since I locked in a lot of pips from last week’s trade signal.

Oh yeah baby! I got lucky and hit a touchdown on my trade! WHO DAT!

Shucks, the price didn’t even come close to my entry point as the risk aversion wave that hit the markets yesterday was just way too powerful.

Skadoosh! Thanks to my revised rules on the HLHB system, I was finally able to get into a trade today.

The GBPJPY pair broke down from the symmetrical triangle formation yesterday and plummeted to the 145.50 area. Before doing so, the pair climbed to retest the top of the triangle but, unfortunately, it missed my entry order by a few pips.
