Good Day Mates! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season, but it’s time to get back on the Forex trading grind! After reviewing my trades in 2009, I have decided to refresh my trading rules and share them with you all. Let’s start 2010 fresh by getting back to basics!

Good Morning! I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend! It didn’t look too great for the Greenback as it lost some ground to the Aussie on a return of focus to global recovery.

I got stood up on my AUDUSD trade date as the dollar bulls continued their rampage through the markets. Oh well! There’s always Christmas to look forward to!

What The Huck! No signal again?! Looks like I’m having problems with my system since this is the fourth straight week I haven’t had an entry signal!

Ah sweet, sweet victory. My second TP got hit! Thanks to a relatively upbeat FOMC statement, traders bought up the dollar on the speculation that the Fed would hike rates earlier than expected.

Argh, I missed out on my cable trade! I thought I was going to get some quick pips… but… Oh well :S

Yikes! Eurozone data came out a bit weaker as expected, but what wasn’t expected was the market reaction and EURUSD dropping it’s entire average daily range on the pair!

It looks like I have to close my open AUDUSD short order since the pair has been edging farther and farther away from my entry point.

Hi Traders, I just returned last week from Seoul, Korea last week and spent a great deal of time there speaking about the U.S. Dollar and the Dow Jones. These two markets are of keen interest for anyone trader dollar-correlated pairs.

Good morning to my Asia session trading friends! We just saw Australia release stronger than expected jobs data with an increase of over 31k jobs. AUDUSD shot up right away, so it’s time to close as the Aussie now has fuel to run higher.

Apparently, yen weakness persisted causing the GBPJPY pair to rally furiously upwards in one direction throughout the entire week. Needless to say, I got stopped out.

Happy Jobs Friday to all! Well, I’ve been sitting on this EURUSD range for a whole week and it looks like it took the US jobs data to get it out of its funk! Surprisingly, positive headline numbers and revisions has given my EURUSD position a nice boost!

Hey forex folks! Enjoying the first week of December so far? Well, it’s been a pretty hectic week for me so I’m looking forward to unwind this weekend. But I do hope I’ll be able to chalk up some gains as my GBPJPY short trade is finally heading my way. Wish me luck on that!

Good afternoon! We saw broad Yen weakness over the past couple of days, pushing EURJPY higher to my entry level and beyond…way, way beyond to my stop out level! Grrrrrr! Let’s see what happened…

The “backbone” or “decision level” of an uptrending pattern is the lower uptrend line as it support and there therefore holds the key to either the swing entry continuation buy or the trend reversal short.

The daily USD/CAD has formed a symmetrical triangle as the prices are being squeezed as the pair moves sideways in an accumulation cycle.

Boo. The FOMC meeting minutes did quite a number on the markets yesterday as it encourage currency traders to diversify out of the dollar. The EURUSD, in just one day, broke out of its range, set a new yearly high, and hit my stop loss in the process.

What a bummer! Looks like holding on to my 2nd position didn’t work out too well for me. At least I was able to lock in profits by moving my stop loss to breakeven!
