It’s a brand new week folks, and that means it’s time for me to give my 2 cents on the foreign exchange market!

The HLHB Trend-Catcher had a relatively good week on both EUR/USD and GBP/USD. There were a few fakeouts, but they were few and far in between thanks to the RSI. Details of what happened can be found here in my weekly update.

Good evening forex friends! No luck in catching that USD rally on an retracement as USD/CHF powered higher during the Wednesday Asia and European session. Time to close orders with bearish bars forming with a new start to the day.

Not again! Just when it seemed like the odds were lined up in favor of my short AUD/USD trade, the pair ignored weak Australian fundamentals and busted through the resistance levels. What was that all about?!

It’s been a long time coming and here’s my trade for the week. I’m lookin’ at this sexy setup on USD/CHF!

Dang, who would have thought that the Aussie could make such a comeback?! After a couple weeks of falling through the charts, AUD pairs have come roaring back. Unfortunately for me, this led to AUD/CAD blowing through the Fib levels and stopping me out!

Action was what I was looking for and that’s what I got…but not in a good way! The strong resistance at 1.5400 wasn’t able to hold for long, giving way to buyers and taking me out of my trade.

Another mixed week for my HLHB Trend-Catcher system. While it finished with a strong win on GBP/USD, it scored a small loss on EUR/USD. I’ve got all the details here.

Losses are as much part of trading as winners, so I’m shrugging off the bad vibes from my recent trades, keeping the lessons, and moving on to this irresistible setup on EUR/AUD!
