Got a bunch of small plays on a handful of signals per pair with this mechanical trading system! Here’s how those trades turned out.

In this revised version of the Short-Term Bollinger Reversion Strategy, I’m waiting for RSI to cross above or below oversold or overbought levels to indicate a bit more momentum in the direction of the trade. Make sure you review the tweaks here.

USD/CAD had a long signal triggered at the test of the bottom Bollinger Band and it snagged some pips on a move to the middle band. Unfortunately the remaining half had to be closed at entry before the strong rally took place.

The next signal didn’t turn out well as price kept climbing until the full stop loss.

Meanwhile, CAD/CHF had a fresh long signal off a bounce from the bottom band.

Price hit the middle band, but it happened at a price lower than entry. The adjusted stop got hit soon after as well.

With that, the Short-Term Bollinger Reversion Strategy snagged a 50.5-pip or 1.01% loss in total for the past week, adding to the previous set of losses. Bah!
