Another day, another update for the Happy Hunter Trading System! So, how did the two Variants fare during the most recent hunt?
GBP/NZD’s price action during the first half of Dec. 19 was essentially a continuation of the sideways, choppy price action that started on Dec. 18.
However, the pair began trending strongly higher during the later half of the day and then continued to do so on Dec. 20, as you can see below.
And if you guessed that the Trailing Variant had a great time, then you’re right since two trades in the direction of the strong uptrend were opened on Dec. 19 (trades # 71 and 72), and they were able to ride (and are still riding) the uptrend.
And thanks to those two trades, the Trailing Variant is now up by 6.04% for the month (+2.41% previous), which also happens to be a fresh high water mark.
As for the Fixed TP Variant, well, it couldn’t really take advantage of the strong uptrend because of its design philosophy, but it also closed out the day with some gains and is now up by 4.15% for the month (+3.52% previous).

By the way, if you’re a first-time reader and have no idea what this is all about, then just know that I’m forward testing a purely mechanical trading system.
And if you find that interesting, then you may wanna click on the links below to read about and understand the rules of the system.

Also, if you’re wondering what the numbers on the charts are about, they refer to the trade #, based on the chronological order when the signal was generated, not necessarily when the trade was executed.
Oh, also note that you can find the details of each trade in the tables below the chart. If the table is too small to read, just remember that you can click on it to enlarge it.
