Another day, another update for the Happy Hunter Trading System! So, how did the two Variants fare in the most recent hunt?
GBP/NZD got a volatility boost on September 5, so both Variants had a good run. The Fixed TP Variant fared much better, though.
You see, there was a rather strong bullish spike during the later half of the day, but only the Fixed TP Variant was able to take advantage of that since the trailing rules failed to kick in because, as you can see below, GBP/NZD turned south rapidly after the bullish spike.
At any rate, the Fixed TP Variant bounced back from negative territory and is now up by 1.26% for the month (-0.04% previous), which also happens to be a fresh high water mark.
As for the Trailing Variant, I already mentioned earlier that it didn’t profit as much because the trailing rules failed to kick in so the two trades in the direction of that bullish spike were both closed out at SW, so the Variant is only up by 1.23% for the month (+0.60% previous).

And if you find that interesting, then you may wanna click on the links below to read about and understand the rules of the system.

Also, if you’re wondering what the numbers on the charts are about, they refer to the trade #, based on the chronological order when the signal was generated, not necessarily when the trade was executed.
Oh, also note that you can find the details of each trade in the tables below the chart. If the table is too small to read, just remember that you can click on it to enlarge it.
