A new trading week (and a new month) is underway, which means another batch of daily updates. So, how did the two Variants fare during the first trading day of the month?
Well, both Variants are starting the new month with light scratches, so not too good, I suppose.
There was a 160-pip uptrend on July 2 and both Variants were able to open profitable trades in the direction of the trend.
However, was choppy before and after the uptrend. And unfortunately, the system also generated a bunch of losers during those choppy periods, which is why both Variants were slightly down for the day.
The Fixed TP Variant is down every so slightly by 0.10% for the month, while the Trailing Variant is almost unchanged with a 0.01% loss for the month.

By the way, if you’re a first-time reader and have no idea what this is all about, then just know that I’m forward testing a purely mechanical trading system.
And if you find that interesting, then you may wanna click on the links below to read about and understand the rules of the system.

Also, if you’re wondering what the numbers on the charts are about, they refer to the trade #, based on the chronological order when the signal was generated, not necessarily when the trade was executed.
Oh, also note that you can find the details of each trade in the tables below the chart. If the table is too small to read, just remember that you can click on it to enlarge it.
