Just when I thought I had another chance to ride the dollar’s rally with my HLHB system, my 30-pip filter becomes a party pooper!

Argh… Price STILL hasn’t retraced to make a new crossover and get me into a trade! I swear, I’m so close to completely scrapping this system. So frustrating… If it hadn’t been profitable in 2010 and when I backtested it, I probably would have!

Since I said I was going back to my HLHB System, there has been a grand total of… ONE signal and it isn’t even valid.

Some things in life just don’t get old. And neither do setups! With that rising trend line on USD/JPY still intact, I’m thinking of doing a repeat of my earlier trade. Hopefully, the ending is the same.

I think I jinxed myself! I said that it was going to be a perfect trade so many times that the markets heard me and turned the tables against my favor. Ha! Kidding! I have no one to blame but myself and the market isn’t out to get me (or any of you either, dear readers).

After more than a week of waiting, I finally closed my USD/JPY trade at a profit! This is probably how my home girl Esperanza Spalding feels after winning the Grammy Award for Best New Artist!

After three all-nighters, I’m finally done backtesting the second version of the HLHB. Check out the results! I’ve got to warn you though, the figures ain’t pretty.

Will the dollar get some lovin’ from traders ahead of Valentine’s Day? Hmm… I hope so! Because upon seeing that descending triangle on Cable, I think I’m going to dump the pound in exchange for it!
