GBP/NZD traded roughly sideways in a tight range and intraday price action was very choppy to boot. In short, trading conditions were rather terrible on July 23. And consequently, both Variants had a rather terrible time.

I’m feeling the risk-off vibes these days, and what better pair to trade than AUD/JPY? I seem to have missed a really nice entry opportunity, but there may be a chance to catch some bearish momentum here.

Greetings, fellow Happy Hunters! The trading week is done and a new one will soon begin, which means that it’s time to take stock of how the two Variants of the Happy Hunter Price Action Trading System fared this past week.

Trading conditions deteriorated even further on July 20. And this time, both Variants of the (not so) Happy Hunter took hits. They’re still both up for the month, though.

Trading conditions deteriorated on July 19, but the Fixed TP Variant was able to eke out a small win. The Trailing Variant, meanwhile, was able to walk away with only a scratch.

July 18 was another volatile day, so both Variants had another good run. The Trailing Variant is worth mentioning since it’s now up by 6.20%, which also happens to be a new high water mark for the month.

Volatility ramped up on July 17, but only the Trailing Variant was able to really benefit and is now up by 4.72% for the month. And that’s because losers were also generated since intraday price action was still choppy overall.

Price action on July 16 can be described as choppy, sideways, and with very limited volatility. Needless to say, both Variants had a very bad time on July 16. Maybe this was a belated Friday the 13th effect?

So much for trying to catch a Loonie selloff on weaker crude oil! Supply concerns lifted the commodity while hawkish BOC rhetoric added a boost for the currency.
