Happy Pip

I may have been looking at the weekly chart when I spotted this EUR/NZD reversal pattern, but I also saw a nice short-term entry opportunity that I didn’t want to miss!

Greetings, fellow Happy Hunters! The trading week is done and a new one will soon begin, which means that it’s time to take stock of how the two Variants of the Happy Hunter Price Action Trading System fared this past week.

There was a rather strong uptrend on September 7, and both Variants were able to profit from that. The Trailing Variant is really enjoying the volatility boost, though, since it’s now up by 5.11% for the month.

Volatility evaporated on September 6 and GBP/NZD traded somewhat sideways, so losing trades were inevitable. Both Variants came out ahead, though.

GBP/NZD got a volatility boost on September 5, so both Variants had a good run. The Fixed TP Variant fared a bit better, though, since the trailing rules failed to activate when GBP/NZD spiked higher and then dropped.

I don’t seem to be seeing much momentum on my other short Kiwi idea, so I’m turning my attention to this EUR/NZD reversal pattern on the weekly chart.

Both Variants took hits during the second trading day of the month. Sure, there was a steady intraday trend. However, GBP/NZD traded sideways before and after that trend and a bunch of losers were also generated.

Volatility was relatively high on September 3 and there was also a steady intraday downtrend to boot, so both Variants were able to start out the month with some gains.

Aaaaand the final results are in. So, how did the two Variants of the Happy Hunter fare in August? (Hint: They both did pretty well)
