There was a nice, steady downtrend on September 28. And fortunately, the system was able to generate a couple of trades in the direction of that trend, allowing both Variants to bounce back.

If trading conditions on September 26 were bad, then trading conditions on September 27 were worse. And this time, even the Fixed TP Variant was forced to surrender a large chunk of its gains.

Trading conditions deteriorated even further on September 26, so the Trailing Variant was forced to pare even more gains. The Fixed TP Variant, meanwhile, was able to somehow eke out a win again.

Ack! I knew I should’ve been more patient in waiting for a pullback on this one, but do you think I should add at this point?

Volatility tightened a bit on September 25 and GBP/NZD’s intraday price action was rather choppy, so both Variants had a tough time. The Fixed TP Variant managed to eke out a win, though.

Both Variants came out ahead on September 24, thanks to the steady intraday trend that day. The Trailing Variant did particularly well and is now up by 7.37% for the month.

Well, that was quick! Sadly for my short AUD/JPY trade, the market reaction to the latest round of U.S.-China tariffs was actually a sigh of relief.

There was a rather strong downtrend on September 21, but only the Trailing Variant was able to profit from that downtrend, pushing the Variant’s gains for the month to +5.40%

Trading conditions on September 20 were quite similar to trading conditions on September 19. And since trading conditions were relatively favorable, both Variants were able to recover even more lost ground.
