This morning I hosted a 30-minute forex webinar and the topics were basically chosen by the participants who were their and the topics can be eclectic and that’s part of the fun. I DO try to keep some cohesion and I think today’s talk had a nice flow.

The title says it all. This video runs almost 30-minutes and is a follow up to my prior update the Forex Two Minute Drill where I explain all the details of my recent EUR/USD fade sell.

I get a lot of questions about my chart set up, indicators, 34EMA Wave, GRaB…so I put together this short (15 minute) video to walk you through pretty much everything.

I get quite a few questions regarding order entry and the truth is this topic is probably not discussed enough.The bottom line is that without order entry all the most rockin’ chart work and best trading plan in the world cannot be executed.

I held a webinar yesterday and this simple question popped up on the text chart window and began a 20-minute discussion of what exactly is a “reversal” versus a correction, and a look a the retracements in the USD/CHF and EUR/CHF.

You can’t talk about crude without considering that crude oil is the KING of commodities. Yes, that includes gold. Think of it this way. Try to think about any aspect of your life that does not include crude oil in some way. If anything is grown or delivered, crude oil played a role.

It’s more important than ever to get clarity on market trends. Without a clear methodology to identify a trend and also corrections in the trend, trend trading would be impossible.

Swing trading is – to me – defined my first identifying a trend using my GRaB candles and 34EMA Wave. Second I look for corrections which are bounces to resistance in a downtrend and pullbacks to support in an uptrend.

The cable has moved higher through the downtrend line of the Channel Down on the daily chart. This move is accompanied by a break though the 1.6200 level on the pair which has been resistance since the Jul13 rally and represents a break that could really attract momentum.
