Trade Ideas

I said last week that I plan to forward test the two variants of the Happy Hunter System. Well, I’ll be finally putting that plan into action tomorrow. For today’s write-up, I’ll be showing how the two variants fared during the February 1-9 trading period.

Last week was all about breakdowns on the yen pairs, so I’m looking at more risk-off plays for EUR/JPY and Guppy. The trend on EUR/GBP, on the other hand, still seems to be intact.

Made profits on my AUD/JPY short much faster than I thought, so I decided to lock in profits for now and re-assess the pair’s downside potential Here’s a quick review!

If you like trading forex trends like I do, then you’re gonna love this uptrend continuation setup that I spotted on Cable’s daily time frame. Check it out!

A win is a win! I decided to hop out of my position ahead of the RBNZ statement because I had this eerie feeling that it might be a bummer.

Decided to lock in some profits on my USD/CAD short ahead of last week’s NFP data and it looks like that was the right move…or could I have played it a little differently?

Breakout alert! I’ve had my eye on this huge CAD/JPY consolidation pattern for quite some time now, and it looks like the floor has given way. Think I should hop in at market?

Took a quick break from watching the Super Bowl to line up these sweet channel setups on EUR/JPY, GBP/JPY, and EUR/GBP that might play out this week.

What’s up forex fiends! Going with a longer-term play today with this textbook technical short setup on AUD/JPY. Think it’s time for the pair to drop?

Reversal alert! This pair busted through that long-term descending channel to show that it’s ready for a climb. I spotted this opportunity to catch a quick correction.

Last week’s short-term trade worked out for a while, but it had trouble getting momentum. Think the dollar’s selloff will take a chill pill over the next couple of days?

We’ve got big time event risk this week for both the Greenback and Loonie this week, so it’s time to adjust once again to lock in a profit.

Don’t look now, but we’ve got a neat break-and-retest situation goin’ on right here with NZD/CAD! Is it time to hop in this textbook setup?

I’m seeing plenty of pullback opportunities on the 4-hour charts of EUR/JPY, GBP/JPY, and EUR/GBP. Any catalysts that could allow the trends to resume this week?

Here’s a quick forex trading setup for those who are looking to jump in on the dollar’s downtrend. Think the retracement will hold?

Lucked out so far with my USD/CAD idea, but with big events ahead for both currencies, I thought it might be time to reduce my risk. Here’s a quick adjustment.

Don’t look now but New Zealand just printed yet another quarterly CPI miss and this pair seems to be done with its breakout correction. Time to short?

Back on my AUD short bias after a recent slide in iron ore prices to put pressure on the Australian dollar. Is there a bounce ahead and will that be the right time to jump in?

My my, commodity currencies have been on a tear these days! I’m seeing more bullish momentum on AUD/JPY as it continues to move inside that long-term channel I’ve previously hopped in.

Trends are still looking mighty fine on EUR/JPY, GBP/JPY, and EUR/GBP. I’m also seeing a few potential opportunities to catch momentum!
