I’m seeing plenty of bounces off the top and bottom Bollinger Bands, but did this mechanical system catch any pips this week? Take a look!

In this revised version of the Short-Term Bollinger Reversion Strategy, I’m waiting for RSI to cross above or below oversold or overbought levels to indicate a bit more momentum in the direction of the trade. Make sure you review the tweaks here.

USD/CAD was trading mostly sideways and bounced off the top band a few times. However, it didn’t really generate any valid signals for the week.

Meanwhile CAD/CHF also didn’t generate any valid signals for the week, even though it did bounce off the opposite bands until the middle band in a few instances.

With that, it’s a signal-free week for this mechanical trading system. No new positions or winning ones, but I’d take this over a losing week so it’s all good!
