Partner Center Find a Broker

While retail forex trading is relatively young, brokers and other forex-related companies have maintained a quick pace of development when it comes to catering to the needs and lifestyles of traders. Take a look at some companies who have stepped up their game and answered the call!

Alpari (U.K.) Offers Spread Betting on MT4

Alpari (U.K.), one of the major brokers in the forex hood, took another bold step in improving its customers’ trading experience by offering Spread Betting on the MetaTrader4 (MT4) platform. Simply put, spread betting allows a trader to make money by calling the price of an instrument at a certain time, rather than just a higher or lower outcome.

Think it sounds like normal spot forex trading? You’re right. However, Alpari says that spread betting in forex means that your profits are tax-free! But don’t get too excited. Capital gains tax, stamp duty, and income tax are only waved for U.K. residents.

Some of the other features of Alpari’s new platform include being able to backtest, optimize, and trade their Expert Advisers (EAs). Sweet, right? I wouldn’t be surprised if Robopip suddenly decides to invade the U.K.!

Lastly, Alpari (U.K.) clients who wish to venture outside of the forex market can also opt to trade other markets since the platform also includes other financial assets. Expands Alert Functions to MT4 Accounts

Even if you’re not the mobile trader type of guy, I’m sure you’ll still appreciate the latest features of, a New Zealand-based company.

In addition to providing alerts to significant price action on your favorite currency pairs, the company now allows users to integrate their MT4 platforms and be notified when their orders are opened, closed, or have expired. Not only that, users will also know when their trades get stopped out or just took profit.

You do know what this means, right? No more excuses for not going to the gym! But seriously, you’ll probably have to read more about’s new features. Some brokers may already integrate this into their platforms, so you should inquire about this. If they aren’t already offering the same service, then you know what to ask of them this Christmas! Introduces New Trade Journal Feature

This post wouldn’t be complete without a shout out to our own crazydiculous developers!

What I like most about’s new trade journal feature is that “MT4Sync” automatically pulls your most recent MT4 trade details each and every single time. After that, you can publish your favorite trades on and then watch your fellow traders give you a virtual pat on the back for your winners, or a few tips to improve on your losing trades.

Boy, forex-related companies sure are stepping up their game, aren’t they? I’m sure I missed a couple more features from other companies, but at least you have an idea of the new range of services that these companies are providing now.

As retail forex traders, always remember that these new features and developments are created with YOU – the end user – in mind. As a forex trader, what other types of features would you like to see developed? Share your ideas below!
