I’ve rounded up FOUR mechanical forex strategies right here to see how they performed recently. Take a look!
I’ve got a neat systems snapshot table for their latest performance down below, but keep in mind that the time periods and some trading assumptions vary among my fellow FX-Men.
HLHB Trend-Catcher System
In this week’s update, Huck is pretty happy about her trend-catcher making up for the previous week’s bloodbath with a couple of winning trades. See how she got 299 pips (+1.00%) this week! Read more.
SMA Crossover Pullback
Robopip’s newbie-friendly SMA Crossover Pullback trading system is as simple as its name suggests.
EUR/USD had a long position left open from a couple of weeks back that eventually hit its full profit target.
With that, the system was able to close out with yet another 300-pip or 2.00% gain, marking its FOURTH consecutive week in the green. Read more.
Short-Term Bollinger Reversion Strategy 2.0
This mechanical trading system is in the middle of a pretty good run this month but wasn’t able to catch any valid plays off the band bounces this time. No wins or losses for now! Read more.
Inside Bar Momentum Strategy 2.0
Another tried-and-tested system is Robopip’s Inside Bar Momentum Strategy 2.0 which monitors purely candlestick price action, free of any technical indicators, on the 4-hour charts of GBP/JPY and USD/JPY.
Both pairs were able to score a couple of wins each while Guppy snagged one tiny loss. Overall, the system was still able to chalk up a total of 128 pips in gains for the week. Read more.
