There were not a lot of top-tier data releases today but that didn’t mean lack of volatility for the major currencies! Today I’m looking at USD/JPY’s short-term uptrend.

It’s another shortened trading week but still a busy one! We’ve got the BOC statement, FOMC minutes, and top-tier U.S. data all lined up.

On easing banking fears & rising recession odds, CHF took the top spot this week, while AUD fell to the bottom after another rate pause from the RBA.
