Hey forex folks! Enjoying the first week of December so far? Well, it’s been a pretty hectic week for me so I’m looking forward to unwind this weekend. But I do hope I’ll be able to chalk up some gains as my GBPJPY short trade is finally heading my way. Wish me luck on that!

Boo. The FOMC meeting minutes did quite a number on the markets yesterday as it encourage currency traders to diversify out of the dollar. The EURUSD, in just one day, broke out of its range, set a new yearly high, and hit my stop loss in the process.

What a bummer! Looks like holding on to my 2nd position didn’t work out too well for me. At least I was able to lock in profits by moving my stop loss to breakeven!

I got home today from work and found out that my take profit point got hit! I was a little worried at first, because the pair seemed to range for a bit and actually tested the 89.50 price level twice before moving down.

Phew… finally got the chance to back test the HLHB system. With that said, it’s time to make some changes to the HLHB system. Check ’em out!

I missed out on this USDCAD trade as the price didn’t climb all the way up to 1.0600. Too bad… The 38.2% Fibonacci level held up really well so I have to close my open orders on this one.
