Good day my lovely readers. It’s Friday again, which means I have to do my weekly update! In today’s piece, I have a write-up on the HLHB system, and a review on the two trade ideas I posted earlier this week.

Here are the trade ideas I told y’all about on Twitter. Gosh, I hope at least one of ’em gets triggered. I haven’t had a trade in what seems like forever! Now I have to keep my French-tipped fingers crossed for risk aversion to stay.

Remember that crossover I pointed out in my update last week? It turns out that my 30-pip filter kept me from catching a 300-pip move. Boo hoo! Poor lil’ Huck just sat on the sidelines this week.

It’s a bird, it’s a plane… No! It’s the Swissy soaring up the charts! Okay, that’s corny. But you know what I mean. I’m gonna try to get in on the action and short USD/CHF. Gosh, I hope there are enough bears left to push the pair to a new all-time low.

I may not be Britanni Kline, America’s Next Top Model Cycle 16 winner, but I feel like I’m on top of the world with my win on EUR/USD! Although my HLHB system didn’t do so well this week, I still think I’m ending May on a good note!

Ugh! With all these downgrades, talks of a debt contagion, and protests against austerity measures, how am I supposed to show the euro some love? That’s it! I’m rooting for the dollar.

Boy did I miss out on the action on the charts this week. I had four trade ideas but I got in none of them since I didn’t get the confirmation signals that I wanted. Heck, even my HLHB system just sat on the sidelines. As if that’s not bad enough, my home girl Hayley Reinhart got eliminated from Idol! Sigh.

Since I’ve tackled all the other majors already (EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/CHF), I decided to make my last trade idea for the week on USD/JPY. I also want to make sure it’s high probability, so I’m going with the medium-term trend! Hope you like it.

They say the third time is the charm. Will I finally get to pull the trigger on my third trade idea for the week? I’m looking at a possible Fib play on Cable!

One thing I’ve learned in technical analysis is that the more times a support or resistance level is tested, the more likely it is to break and the stronger the resulting breakout will be. Since a falling trend line resistance has been holding nicely in EUR/USD, I’ve decided to put my idea to the test!
