News events to watch for today :

  • 7:00am EST- U.K. CBI Distributive Trades
  • 9:00am EST- US S&P/CaseShiller Composite-20
  • 10:00am EST- US Consumer Confidence

Today's Surf

7:45am EST- There was a moving average crossover for a short trade. Stochastics were trending down, but RSI was above 50 and MACD was already negative. This cancelled out the signal and I did not enter.

Hi Pipsurfer, fairly new to Babypips and trading in general. Just thought I would let you know that I love the simplicity of your system and the thorough-ness of your thread. I will be trying out your system on my account in the near future. Keep up the good work. Harmudge
In your video you said the indicators did not line up for the down trend. The RSI was above 50 which doesn't line up but STOCH both lines were pointing down and the MACD was in negative territory. Would you have placed the trade if the RSI was below 50 then all indicators would have matched up.
