Ian Macfarlane

Ian Macfarlane is the Governor of the Reserve Bank of Australia.

Governor since 1996, Mr. Macfarlane is one of the longest serving central bankers in the group. Educated at University of Sydney, Mr. Macfarlane has been with the RBA from 1979, serving a variety of positions from Head of Research to Deputy Governor.
