Glenn Stevens

Governor of the Reserve Bank of Australia since 18 September 2006.

Mr Stevens serves as Chairman of the Payments System Board, Council of Financial Regulators and Financial Markets Foundation for Children. He also serves as Director of The Anika Foundation.

1980–92: Research Department, Reserve Bank of Australia; various positions and Visiting Scholar, Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco in 1990

1992–95: Head of Economic Analysis Department

1995–96: Head of International Department

1996–2001: Assistant Governor (Economic)

2001–06: Deputy Governor
