Christine Lagarde

Currently France's Minister of Finance, Christine Lagarde is the first women to take such a position of a G8 economy. She has held the position since being appointed in June of 2007.

She has previously held the role of France's Minister of Agriculture and Fishing and Minister of Trade before becoming Minister of Finance.
