that's good you put the pipcount.Keep up the good job;)
Nice Piping "comdollia". You did well. Any reason for not trading in the last week?
Thanks Obelfx, I didn't trade because everything wasn't lining up to my taste: fundamentals, interest rate differentials and trends. I'm a big on trend trading, and the Aussie and Kiwi were in a sideways pattern before the breakout we saw a couple of days ago. I like the loonie a lot, but I'm a little cautious of this 11% run it's had against the Greenback. I still bearish on USD/CAD throughout the summer, just looking for a pullback. So, no trades this week, but keep out for a new idea soon!
Hi there Happy, I've been following your blog and was wondering if you mind sharing your set up, the EMA's and Stoch and so on, pleeease. =0)
Hello solforexxx, I like to use "Pipcrawler's Setup," which he created to view price action over the course of the month. On a 4hr chart you would use 240 WMA on the high, low, and closing prices. Two bollinger bands, both with 240 MA and one & two standard deviation settings. And stochastics set to default settings (14,3,3). That's it! It can also be applied to daily charts to get a feeling for price action over the course of the year.
Thanks for that, there is one problem, i know what a EMA and SMA is but i dont know what or carnt find a WMA and when you say 240 MA do you mean EMA? Sorry to be a pain =0)
Also i have been looking for pipcrawlers setup, as you said he/she is where you got yours from but i carnt seem to find it in the forums or in their blog =0(
Ok, i used my powers of reading and deduction and have worked it out, thank you so much =0)
Hey solforexxx... I'm glad you figured it out. If you have any questions about my chart setup just email at pipcrawler@babypips.com, k? Good luck!
A Pip count for every month is really awesome! You guys should do it in every blog so we can see the performance of different systems and pairs. A very good month indeed, almost two hundred pips! Please keep this months count idea HappyPip, and good luck to you all, and very good trades!
