My last week of the year turned out to be a fakeout week! EUR/USD had already showed 9 crossovers before the FOMC statement provided action and sent the pair lower. Good thing that the HLHB system caught the move though, since the 10th signal took a 56-pip profit. By the end of the week the gains outweighed the losses by a total of 36 pips. Not bad!
|2||Sell||1.3757||1.3757||0||RSI was already below 50|

|10||Sell||1.3757||1.3701||56||Trailing stop hit|

Unlike in EUR/USD, there was no big win that offset the fakeouts and losing trades for Cable. The system didn’t catch the move from the 1.6320 area to above 1.6350 and showed signals around consolidation areas instead. As a result, we’re looking at a 17-pip loss for the week.

That’s it for me this year! Watch out for the 2013 performance reviews for both my discretionary and mechanical system!
